what to expect on Sundays
Let us answer a few questions you might have as you decide to be our guest.
-
what time are your services?
At First Church our services begin on Sundays at 9:31am.
-
How long are your services?
Our services last about 65 minutes. They contain music and teaching from the Bible that will apply directly to your life.
-
How do I get there?
First Church services are held at 1725 W. Courtland Ave, located on the corner of Ash and Courtland.
-
will I be singled out if I'm new?
Absolutely not, you are our guest. Each Sunday there are people just like you, checking out First Church for the first time. Our goal is for you to have the best experience possible. So, feel free to be anonymous.
-
is there a dress code?
No. Feel free to dress in clothes that are comfortable for you when you come to First Church. You can "dress up" if you want or wear casual clothes. God is interested in your heart, not your wardrobe.

What about my kids?
First Church offers Kids at First , ages 4 up through 4th grade. Kids will be taught the Bible in age-appropriate classes. Our goal is to make church on Sunday the best hour of your kid's week!
We encourage kids ages 5th grade and up to participate as a volunteer or assistant and/or enjoy the service with their parent/guardian. We do offer a class for 5th and 6th graders on the 2nd and 4th Sundays. For more information, email Trevor Bachofner.
